I just gave you another option....a free one.... XBMC...you did say it was an htpc right? so why own an htpc unless your gonna do a media center?

jmho but you should look into xbmc and what it can do. besides you can stream tons of movies in HD on NAVI-X for xbmc... so no need to fill your hard drive with stripped bluray mkv,s you can watch your disc on xbmc or stream with it....
personally what I have done is to store complete dvd iso and bd iso copies on hard drives for playback in xbmc... makes a very sweet home theater library...
