Duplicate Monitor 1 and 2, but #2 at lower resolution?

Hi.

I have my main monitor which is 2560x1440, and I want to start streaming.

But whenever I stream, my FPS drops significantly, because the CPU has to calculate the entire big screen, so I want to invest in a Capture card.

However, the capture card only supports 1920x1080, so I cant input a 2560x1440 resolution to it, and I cant play at 2560x1440 if I want to stream (or can I?)

Q: Is there a option through AMD Drivers or Windows OS, that allows for a Duplicative screen, but that the screen is at a lower resolution?
Main monitor is 2560x1440, and second monitor is 1920x1080, same image only scaled down?

Is this possible?

Yes just duplicate the image onto monitor two.

You can't use a 2560x1440 image on your second monitor, it will be forced to scale down.

Most likely. We had the same problem at our church with the Macs and duplicating the image out to the projectors (I'm their producer on the weekends). If you run the same image at different resolutions it has to be rendered as separate screens, like Eyefinity, and will use a lot more graphical resources obviously. Either get a another card to handle the output to that screen or drop the main resolution to 1920x1080 to save resource power.
