Hi guys, I am new to water cooling but not to this site. I have been lurking for years now on this site ph34r-smiley.gif, and i finally decided to join because I need some information about build i am doing that i have not been able to find after 24 hours on my computer >.<".

I am about to purchase some parts for the first time for my custom loop, and after reading all the guides and looking at all the differences i finally came to a decision on some parts. I have decided to get a XSPC dual 5.25 bay res and two Swiftech MCP655 pumps. Now for aesthetics I wanted to get two Bitspower D5 / MCP655 Pump Mod Kits.

My problem is that i havn't been able to find out if I install the mod kits from Bitspower for the pumps, will i still be able to install the pumps into the XSPC res housing. I really want the setup to be clean and minimal in the drive bays. Also if you need to know i am using a Obsidian 800D as my chassis.

I am hoping someone from the forum knows the answer to this question as i can't figure it out.

Thanks again for the help!thumb.gif

after siting here reading this I finally know what you are asking so the answer is yes you will be able to install the mod kits on the back of the mcp655 pumps it comes with a tool to put the wires threw is all you have to do is remove the old back by twisting is and install the mod kits and they shall fit right in there perfectly so good luck to you sir

I meant, if i install the mod kits onto the pumps. Can i install the pumps with the mod kits on them into the XSPC res. Or can you only install the pumps directly into the XSPC res.

The res has a mounting for the pumps. You can click on the link to see the photos. I just need to be clear before placing an order for the mod kits and the res pump combo.
