Is that a bad thing? redface.gif

Yeah I will try Prime 95 Blend now, seems solid at 2133 MHz with 9 - 11 - 10 - 28 at 1.7v (Lowering it later) with three instances of Memtest x64 at 2GB each for at least one hour

Not really, CFR are better ICs than one could expect on 1866 rated mems.
At a push, these should have no problems doing 1200MHz 10-12-11-30 or so (higher freqs are not an option on the Giga in your sig)

Sounds good. I did some testing last night smile.gif

1200 MHz @ 10-12-11-30 / 1.725v

and

1100 MHz @ 9-11-10-27 / 1.675v

Is it worth going CL10 for 100 MHz more? Using my machine mostly for gaming but also some winrar extraction / a little video encoding.

If lower CL is better for this stuff, i can also try CL8 at 1000 MHz? What do you think?

Btw, it should be Hynix H9C CFR on these

A little update.

Crashing at 8-10-9-24 1000 MHz no matter how much voltage.

Stable at 1100 MHz 9-11-10-27 1.7v and 1200 MHz 10-12-11-30 1.7v

I went with 1200 MHz, seems 3Dmark and games like that the most. Difference is very small tho..
