On the BIONC points spread sheet it shows DiRT running on a 580 and only taking 15-16min. Then it shows it running on a 680 and taking 25min. That is about how long it takes me to complete a wu on my 670's.

So the question is, why so fast on a 580?

Because NVIDIA substantially reduced the amount of compute throughput on Kepler.
