Have you already purchased the Asus RT-N56U? Do you also happen to have Comcast as your ISP? If you do... have mercy on your soul. I originally purchased an Asus RT-N56U about one month ago, and had NO end of problems. While the problems were numerous and the cause almost completely unknown, the root of the issue (as I came to believe) had to do with how Comcast passed your static IP from modem to router. If there was any sort of a delay at all the Asus router would ***** bricks. I went through 4 different identical routers before I gave up and bought a Netgear. Had zero problems since thumb.gif.

Cheers,
-GA
