I've baked three card back to life (8800gtx, 9800gt and a 7900m) but all of those were using a gas stove at 200°C for exactly 10 minutes. never had any caps popping and I'm inclined to say that you might have done more damage than that given those kind of heat levels, I say get a new card if you want it to be usable. They're cheap enough now anyway. On the other hand if you want the experience or replacing the capacitors and don't care much about cost, have a go at repairing it. At worst you'll just have to buy a new one anyway and at best it will be a simple fix and you'll have the experience of doing it under your belt

Sounds like you put the oven on too hot?
Anyway, yeah just get rid of it or keep it for practice.

I saved a 9800GT at 210c once, i sold it for 3x what I paid for it tongue.gif
Oven smelt bad for days, I never actually cleaned it and we're alive now so go figure. rolleyes.gif

Mouser, digikey, or Newark will have them. But to be honest it's a shot in the dark as other components may have been damaged, so it's up to you if you want to invest in caps for something that may not work.

Next time, try 350F, and don't preheat, and just leave it in for 10 minutes. then 20 minutes cooldown. And use a real oven, the amount of space and heat makes a difference.
