[AusGamers] Multiplayer Trailer for Medal of Honor: Warfighter is Explosive and Patriotic. - Page 8

Bought the digital deluxe (because the soundtrack sounds great) with the 50% off coupon and just finished pre-loading it now. I'm not into CoD, but I love Frostbite and BF3, so I'll have to give it a go. Plus, the MoH campaigns are always great, and the fact that MoH games make an attempt to portray realistic strategies and combat situations is a +1 for me thumb.gif

Pretty much every MOH game has felt like COD. Why? Because COD's roots started with MOH. We do all remember where the creators of COD came from right....?

Unfortunately COD sells amazingly well, so of course most of, if not all, follow in COD's footsteps in that off chance they can pull some of their fanbase away from it. When it comes down to it though, is there really that much left for what FPS games can do outside of the SP experience? I know most here only care about MP (and shame on you if you're MP focused since you're missing out of some great narrative experiences), but I'm interested to hear what direction you MP focused guys would like FPS MP to go. Most of you are pretty much just drinking the kool-aid and saying "LOL cod clone trash" but not actually saying anything about what you'd really like to see.

Also, of course this isn't going to be vehicle heavy since it's an infantry based game..... Why would special forces ground troops be jumping into tanks, jets, and gunships.... Battlefield is all about that not MOH.....

I actually bought the "first" MoH full price because I wanted a sort of run and gun shooter that wasn't CoD and did things a little differently, but yeah the game got stale pretty quickly and had some fundamental flaws. Can't see myself shelling out $60 bucks for this one, maybe when it's on steam for 10 bucks like its predecessor I'll consider it.

2010 had a tacked on multiplayer. This one the developers have actually put quite a bit of focus on the multiplayer.

Pre-ordered the Digital Deluxe for $35 and can't wait to try this out. I just played the other MoH after using origins $20 promo code, and the single player was short, but enjoyable. Hopefully Dice slap together another half-assed multiplayer for it again. But after looking through the battlelog for it, it seems promising.

DICE aren't developing the multiplayer this time which is a good thing imo since that was the source of most of the complaints last time around. Can't wait to play this

yeah i've preloaded and cant wait to get my Military Edition in the mail.

Agree with the guy a couple posts back, not much can be done in shooters these days to set themselves apart that already isnt in another game.
Gonna wait on this. (Or might not get it at all) Bought BF3 because of the hype and and am sorely dissapointed in that. But knowing EA I can imagine this forum flooded with complaints within the week or release.
