Question about the Sound activated module

Thread Starter
Hi, I would like to know if I can use this module to power the leds of my computer's fans.

Thanks in advance.

Hello Hellfire,

I´ve never seen fans that come with seperate power cords for the fan itself and then the leds, if that´s the case however as long as they are the same voltage as what the sound activated module is intended for I don´t see an issue. But if you intend to plug in the fan itself to the module, I wouldn´t recommend it.

It is to my understanding that the sound activated module does not provide the appropriate amperage output for most computer fan's, merely lighting products only. If you have separate connections for the fan's LED's then it should work fine.
