Major trouble filling \ bleeding - Page 2

The ridiculously high flowrates aren't going to help bleeding. I would disconnect a pump during the bleeding process.

Will 1 pump be enough for the whole loop then ? cause i dont want stuff to overheat.

Just a few tips I use bleeding automotive cooling systems.

Air always goes up in water. That usually means an air pocket will be trapped in a convoluted loop.Best thing to do is have an air escape at the highest point in the system while filling. That may mean removing a hose and holding it up.You need to get as much air out before you close the system. Also squeezing hoses at the bottom helps "burp" or push trapped air towards the top.Air pockets will cause the pumps to cavitate, and the air won't move.Hard to do in a PC I know, but if you get the majority of air out before you close the system you should be ok.

Hmm, well i can use my system but its still "burps" alot and i think its in the top rads, i guess i will have to put it on its back next weekend and pull out the res higher then the rad inlets. cause it aint bleeding anything now, its just pushing airbubbles. and i dont dare to leave the fillport on the reservoir open cause i know it will spit out alot of water if the pressure increases in the reservoir.

or are there any other options ?

The way that I had my pc set up not too long ago it took a good couple of weeks to bleed everything out. Every time that I would stress the cards I would hear some air bubbles moving around. I guess that the heat caused a bit more turbulence in the water. It eventually stopped. When I later tried tipping the case no bubbles showed up.

You really just have to get most of it out. The rest will just make its way out on its own. A good res that gets most of the air out in the first pass really helps.

Alright i will just have to trip my case alot then.

And yeah indeed in my next build i will switch to another reservoir cause this Koolance ones are just not very easy to work with.
