Why cant I find any servers on Battlefield Bad Company 2?

I recently got this game, and I can only find 9 servers total. And only 1 of them ever has anyone in it, my friend finds well over 800 servers. What gives? I got my nat type opened by giving my computer an ip passthrough which helped me finally find lobbies in gta4 but it didnt help bfbc2.

This is a little annoying, any help is welcomed.

Update your game version to latest as well as Gamespy and you should find those 800 servers.

I was just downloaded and updated last week, I had uninstalled origin, and now when I re install origin it tells me that I need to re-download the games, if there any way to get origin to just sync the games back?

Never used Origin and not a big user of Steam on principle.

Steam has a fuction where you can sink your installed game with the steam version, and if anything is broken, will download and fix that part of the game. I would think Origin has something like that. Root around the Origin menu.

Its different though, that guide shows how to do it.

If you try to point origin to the folder where the games are it tells you something like origin still has to download the games or something.. So you have to merge folders to get origin to be happy.

I found a similar problem, as soon as battlefield 3 came out I couldn't find any bad company 2 games. Going with battlefield 3 instead works too.

I selected disc verification for the game, so that must have skipped out all of origin.

I play bc2 every day, about to right now actually, and the servers are jam packed! Have fun biggrin.gif

Fixing my problems are going to take at least 2 hours, just to get all my origin files to my external hdd, then back to the computer, and thats assuming that doing this will fix the problem, which it should.

I just got the game to and I had the same problem. Now I can,t even get singleplayer to load, it just c2d every time, it tries loads for a few seconds, then bye-bye. So I just gave up, Origin y u so mean 2 me!!!!
