And the PC crashed when I put in 5 WU per GPU.....

I have never experimented with that in WCG. I know that you can with POEM. Here is the cpu commands from a POEM app_info.xml file.

<max_ncpus>2.5</max_ncpus>

I have no idea if this will work with WCG.
