Hello i was using my g400 in CS;GO and using 400 dpi 2 sens. But when i switch it to 800 dpi and 1 sens it felt faster for some reason why is that it was the same speed in terms of 360

They say that the 400 step is not native. So that is probably the reason. Are you using raw input?

I don't see how it can feel faster when the sensitivity is the same for a 360. Maybe the software computation effects the feel.

360* distance is the same, though theres more grain with lower DPI via same screen resolution.

It's more or less how the game engine calculates turning and angles on a 3D plane. Sensitivity is just a multiplier of the internal default yaw and pitch rotation.

I suppose the best way to look at this is from desktop DPI values such as 400 and 800. Theres less distance from point A to point B on a 2D plane via same resolution scale, though modify the canvas by half and distance is more or less the same between the two values.

Of course you cant discard the resolution in general. More individual placement in terms of on screen models.

If they're already the same speed x/360 wise, then it's impossible one is faster than the other unless there's acceleration?
