What is this the temperature of?

Hey guys!! I was just messing around and trying to over clock my i7 2700K when I noticed a temperature reading in SpeedFan.
It is just labeled as "temp1" and it does go up and down depending on the CPU load, but I have no idea what it is from. It does get pretty hot at full load so I just want to know if I should be worried if it gets too hot.

I am using an MSI P67-GD55 motherboard

Another random question: Why is the temperature differences between the CPU cores so high? When overclocking which core temperature should I focus on? This highest one or the lowest one?

It looks to me like it's the same thing as "Package" in CPUID's Hardware Monitor.  If it is the same (I recommend checking Hardware Monitor to be sure), then I can say that from what I've seen so far here on OCN, this reading can be ignored.

It's a computer!

In CPUID HW Monitor this temperature is under motherboard-->Temperatures-->TMPIN0

EDIT: There is also a temperature called Package under the CPU, but it changes a little bit differently than the TMPIN0 so I think they are different.
