FC 64 bit problem help :'( - Page 2

fc6 zod installed again. worked fine up until the boot. then it did the same thing again.

tried the ctrl alt - and it didnt work O_o

ctrl alt f1 works. brings me to a page with lots of text...

on the bottom it says starting udev:

any ideas?

the udev: seems to be a command like thing. but it wont let me type anything :S


edit: i looked for a thing when installing to change frequency.. and no luck

edit: i went to an more offical linux forum and got my help it works now time to fold if i can figure it out im on linux right now

I cant believe you guys have not heard of the Jmircon controller problem. It is a MASSIVE problem at the moment for linux. There is not many people who successfully have linux working properly and also have a Intel Core 2 Processor. Basicly you either have the CDrom not detect or you dont have the harddrive detect and there is other problems to.

I have heard that some people used a USB drive or a external CD rom drive to install linux from instead of the cd.

I have had to move to windows until kernel 2.6.19 comes out which will be a while ago..... darn I miss my linux.
