If you're going to proceed with an APU build then you definitely need to get some 1866 ram instead. HUGE boost in performance since it doubles as your vram. You'll find benchmarks all over the internet saying the same thing.

since hes going to be hybrid crossfiring with the hd 5850 i dont think that 1600 speed memory will slow him down at all. it is true though with apu builds the faster the memory the better off you are. but if im not mistaken the cpu actually has a better graphics card on it anyway. looks interesting.
