Help with problems on new system - Page 2

the blue cable thats in your cable modem and goes to the router needs to be in the port labeled WAN, which i believe is the one it was in. the yellow cable in port 1 runs to another computer and it has internet leave it alone.

plug the other cable (grey? cream? cant remeber) into port 2 and run it to the pc your having problems with. if it does not get internet that probably means the drive is not installed right.

in regard to the boot order, put the cd and dvd drives first, then the hard drive. that way if you try and boot off a cd from either drive it will see that disc for it tries to load the operating system off the hard drive.

you could probably disable the network boot from the boot priority menu, i doubt you will ever use it.
