hey guys,
I am putting together a build and one of the last things on my list is an optical drive. Granted i dont use it much, but i do like to be able to pull music movies and blue-rays off of the respective disks. the problem comes in that i have never bought (or even looked for) and optical drive that was not part of some bundle or $15 at most. i have a stack of about 10 optical drives sitting in my closet, but they are all IDE and i would kinda like an upgrade. Though im not sure i will ever burn a blue-ray, i do burn CDs and DVDs and would like DV-RW. and if blue ray burner isnt too much more, i mine as well future proof since (as you can see) i keep my gear for quite a wile. another thing i am not sure of, can a blue-ray player play CDs and DVDs too? and can you buy a combo that will burn CDs DVDs and Blue-rays?
