Which GPU for W/C SLI? zotac680 or evga670ftw

I have the option of purchasing either of these SLI setups for about the same price. Could someone with Watercooling experience please comment which set is better for performance & overclocking given their different specs? They will be under water with the XSPC waterblock which I'll buy with them.

2x Zotac GeForce GTX 680 2GB
or
2x EVGA GeForce GTX 670 2GB FTW

EVGA has better reputation, quality & support but it's a 670. Zotac is unknown (to me) but is a 680.

In Australia both options come in at about $1,000 AUD total. So if there is a third option at about the same price please let me know.

same price? I would go with 680 in that case. The Zotac.

Zotac is a VERY VERY good brand. Great customer service as well.

For the same price, the 680 is an easy choice. If you want a third option, how about 2 x HD7970s?

Thanks for the unanimous advice.
Oddly the zotac is $25ea cheaper which in part is why I started to doubt my logic.

Some 670's can overclock high enough to be better than a stock 680 but that's not guaranteed. At the same price or cheaper as you're saying, the 680 is a no brainer. thumb.gif
