Will iPod Classic get a refresh? - Page 2

thanks for the suggestion.

But battery is the least of my worries. It'll be used as a desktop source (for the ssmh and other amps), so battery life isn't that important. Size however is, and the sony walkmans are 64GB, a little to little for running flac.

Also the internals are pretty important. I'm not planning to stick with the SSMH as I'm constantly building more and better amps with my end game set on some pretty good amps. And a chain is only as strong as it's weakest link.

I've heard the ipod still has one of the better internals (I'm sure there are better ones, but with alot less capacity)

Yeah the iPod and Walkman both have really good internals. I know Samsung makes a Galaxy MP3 player as well, I assume it has the same Wolfson chip the iPhone 5 and Galaxy SIII have. The Galaxy player does FLAC by default.

I use mine on the road, so battery life is everything. Which is why I chose the Walkman plus it has an excellent AMP.

I highly doubt they'll refresh it anytime soon, if ever. You're better off buying a new HDD for yours on eBay or something.
