3 pin fan cabling..

Thread Starter 
I am in need of a splitter or two splitters has to be 8 to 1 or 4 to 1. Not sure how to make it I have never made cables before but I am prepared to start. Is there any how to's out there.

What I would like is to run a 480 rad in push pull off of one channel.

Thanks for the help.

I plan on having at least 3 480's at the end of this build im planning starting with one.

Like I said I want to have 8 fans on one channel. I don't want to buy a ton of y splitters because its going to be a mess behind the motherboard tray. I would like to make my own. I need custom fan cable lengths etc...

You will need to be careful with fans wattage and fan controllers max wattage per channel. So if fan is say 3 watts max, times 8 = 24 watts make sure each channel can handle more than 24 watts.
Fan wiring is just joined together in parallel IE: red-red, black-black, white-white. Times by 8.thumb.gif

I am wiring some stuff up now however I think I got the cables mixed up somehow I only bought yellow 22gage wire... lol Whats the order for the cables? positive neg. rpm?
