I am very happy with my SteelSeries Siberia V2 w/ USB soundcard. They are mainly good for gaming as the audio jack doesnt work with my ipod for some reason. That said I use AKG K 271 Mk II for music.

I've gotta say, I get annoyed by noises through my current headset (TB X11s which are open) which is why I'm still a little uneasy about going the open route again. I'm all for the closed headphones if it simply didn't restrict the soundstage... Gah what should I do?! A700x or AD700...
