Intellimouse or IO1.1

Are they pretty much the same mouse? I know alot of people in Asia use the intellimouse and are actually good with it. I already have three WMO's (one 6-7 years old, one I just got from ebay, and another I have for backup). I want to build on to my collection. Also I have no idea on mouse sensor technology.

And I don't know which mice are the better ones on ebay, so I just did a search on the two and found these, are they the right ones?

Intellimouse could mean the Intellimouse Explorer 3.0 (IE3.0) or Intellimouse Optical 1.1 (IMO1.1/IO1.1), but IO1.1 is IO1.1. Is that the question you're asking?

Anyway seeing the links you provided, are you asking for a comparison between the IE3.0 and the IO1.1 instead?
They should be using the same sensor, if not the IE3.0 should have the 9000fps version while the IO1.1 should have the older 6000fps version.

As for whether they are legit or not, Skylit should be able to help you identify. wink.gif
