update: Bought thermaltake x3 slim sanded the cooler until it was flat and polished. Used Shin-Etsu thermal paste. Idle temps 35-38 degrees hitting 70 in a maximum 3dmark11 test. A bit scared to run anything more. Superpi 32m only hit 58. (came in just over 8 minutes not bad for a stock cpu).
What do you think? Get a better cooler (I can't really find a tower cooler that will fit need to be about 90x90mm.)?
or just not worry about it? Reseat?
PCH in the this case hit 66c until I swapped some faster unfortunately louder fans. Now it sits at 53 max 55.
