I personally own a 40" Samsung for my PC. it does a great job. i love it no problems, superb picture quality though i don't like the speakers that much. Also i got a Sharp 46" for the living room. Its an older model but it also does a fine job. Just my 2 cents.

Yeah, speakers on current TV's aren't all that. The speakers on the Aquos are ok, but nothing special. Fortunately I have a 7.1 setup aswell so have no trouble with watching movies or gaming. :)

Here's a pic of the setup, though it's not fully setup yet. The TV will go on the wall and the surround speakers need to go up in the correct places. Will be a while before I get it done though due to needing some longer length cables and wanting to redecorate the front room before it all goes up (which will be after Christmas I think).

I have yet to meet a TV with good speakers. It is a prerequisite to have a soundbar or 2.1 setup of some sort.

My Visio has good speakers. So does my uncle's 60 inch Bravia and my parents' 42/46 inch Insignia.

I have a Sony Bravia and the speakers are garbage. Crackles when pushed to mid-higher volumes and isn't very loud to begin with.

So you like 60hz? For whatever reason I just cant tolerate it anymore, I'm so used to 120hz/240cmr (if the 240 cmr even does anything).

I don't even notice the soap opera effects I used to notice years ago.
