Howdy all!
Since my old PC is going for its fifth year and has some faults already, I decided to build a new one. Its the first build, and Im not sure how the parts Ive chosen will work together etc... Its a budged gaming rig, priced at 630 euros, without the gpu Asus 6870 DCU I already have, here in Finland.

Parts Ive chosen are

-Intel Core i5 2500k
-Asrock Z68 Extreme3 Gen3
-Corsair Vengeance 2x4GB 1600MHz
-Kingston 120 GB SSDNow V+200
-Xfx 850 W Core Edition
-Aerocool X-Warrior
(-Asus Amd 6870 DirectCu)

And yes, I know that the psu is way over the needs of the build, but its for possible dual gpu upgrade in future if that one seems too sluggish.

Looks very cool. Unless PSU's start delivering peta-watts of power. You will never have too much head-room.

I would buy a heat sink for that CPU though.

Yeah I have looked for some heat sinks and fans to reduce the overall heat, but for a starter those will have to do so when assembling it can be seen how huge cooling systems can be added

Sorry mread the graphics card thing. They are right though, the psu is overkill so you could save some money there. 750 would still be overkill for dual cards but would leave you in a very comfortable spot.

Unfortunately, no since new gpu would add 300+ to the price tag.. And it isnt that bad, atleast yet, for a budged pc.
While that psu remains as overkill, it has lots of connectors what I couldnt find in similiar models. Could you link one that would be better?

looks fine, deff grab a CPU cooler, CM Hyper 212+ is great. even if you go sli/crossfire, a solid 600W PSU will be fine.

That seemed pretty ok and price was also nice, under 40€ so Ill add it to the list. Just gotta find a psu with good cables now.
