Those baby kepler chips are not that great, no better than what you already have. The 6670 might not be bad, maybe 4-5k ppd? Have you folded on it already because I would be curious what kind of numbers it would make.

Oh wow that isn't bad! I would move that to the budget machine and get yourself a little better card for the main rig in that case. thumb.gif

The Retail version of a GT610 has 48 Fermi Cuda cores, pass.

The OEM version of a GT620 with 48 Fermi Cuda cores is the same card as the Retail version of the GT610, pass.

The Retail version of a GT620 with 96 Fermi Cuda cores is worth a look if it's cheap.

The OEM version of a GT630 with 192 Kepler Cuda cores could be good, or could be a total flop. I can't find ANY information to confirm either way. At this time I think it's smart to avoid Kepler.

Both Retail versions (ddr3 and ddr5) of the GT630 with 96 Fermi Cuda cores are worth a look at the right price.

There are 4 versions of the GT640, 3 OEMs and 1 Retail. The Retail edition is a 384 core Kepler, 2 of the OEM versions are also 384 core Kepler, and there is an OEM version based on 144 Fermi Cuda cores. The way to identify the Fermi version, is that it either comes with 1.5GB or 3GB of DDR3. The Kepler cards all come with 1GB or 2GB. If you can get the Fermi edition here at the right price it is worth a look.

I'm not sure if your "supplier" has OEM cards (some re-sellers manage to get ahold of them from time to time) so I just went ahead and listed everything.

Best of luck,
Eric

Do you have a screen shot confirming this ? I'm fairly certain that I didn't break 6k on my 5770 and i'm pretty sure a 5770 is > 6670

Does the Sempron unlock? My Sempron 130 unlocked can do normal work units fine. Only can do SMP units under Linux or it misses the deadlines though lol.

Your GPU will fold a lot faster so if it doesn't unlock or you don't wanna fold with the CPU I wouldn't worry about it too much.
