I'm going to be playing on a Dell 19in. 1440x900. I like COD,Skyrim,Minecraft and Battlefield Series.
Which one would be better and future proof? There all around 100-120$.
I have a 550w psu and an amd x4 lano chip.
Which would be better for this rig?
Also is any AMD cards on par for 120$?

Gear mentioned in this thread:

I haven't looked into these cards too much but offhand I'd say pry go for an AMD 7770 or the gtx 650

The AMD HD 7770 is in the $110-120 dollar price range and does better than all of those cards.

Though if you can I would save up a little bit more to get a 7870 at around $200 or a 7850 at ~$160 because it's a very significant jump if performance.

Well I heard the GTX 650 can't play games really but my GTS 450 did fine at 1080p. So right now I'm heading towards the GTX 550 ti. Hmm

Then definitely go with the 7770 in that price range its about 10-15% better than the 550ti.

Doesn't matter what the bus is if the card can't push the picture out fast enough.
