HD 7770 performs almost the same as the 6870... the 6870 performs the same as the GTX 560... the GTX 560 is better than the GTX 550 ti

I always thought the 6870 outperformed the 7770 by a little bit. The 7770 is still a great card though, and it can be found really close to $100.

There is something people are overlooking though, you have an A4. That could potentially bottleneck some of the graphics cards, so that should be considered as well. I know it very visibly bottlenecks mid range cards, i don't know about lower mid range.

This 560 is $115.00 after a rebate if you don't mind them. That'd be your best bet on the green side.
