The numbers are equal now and AMD are not in front.
Nah they are very much in front at the moment. Maybe in some games they still arent? But in all the games i play they are and thats without my cards ojverclocked. Planetside 2 when i test later should be a diffferent story. I'll run some benchmarks later though so you non believers can see.
With my 4GB GTX 680s every time an explosion went off with my surround set-up my frame rate would dip to the 30s and in heavy action drop to the 40s. The HD 7970s stay a solid 60 with Vsync on and don't drop below it at all in explosions or heavy action.
I'm getting horrible input lag though which I was not getting with Nvidia. And I have MSI Afterburner limiting my frame rate to 60, the game limiting my frame rate to 60, Vsync on in game and in CCC and that's the best performance I've found.
Maybe I have my screens set-up wrong but I wasn't aware I'd need Vsync to eliminate screen tearing with 3 native DP connections but I am.
