I just finished placing the RX120 in my loop and as I previously anticipated, my high temps were from not having enough rad. I re-ran Heaven with same voltage & OC settings and the delta temps were a whopping 20C cooler!!! I think I also noticed a 3C temp drop on my cpu when running prime, tho I only ran it for maybe 5 mins so nothing conclusive.

Oops...forgot to cut the zip tie ends off biggrin.gif

Leftfield, could you overvolt the card and tell me what the vrm temps are when at high volts and under load? Thanks

Disregard that. Misread your post. I'll see what i can find.

[EDIT]

I used HWiNFO64 to track the heat from the VRMs. I ran 5 loops of Far Cry 2 Long Bench Max settings in Eyefinity and temps of the VRMs never exceeded 46C. Afterburner also shows that temps didnt pass 45C for the GPu itself. IMO something weird is going on b/c i always thought VRMs would be much hotter than that. I know Im using a water block but the VRMs are still under a thermal pad as they would be using conventional air cooling. And yes, I am looking at the correct area for VRM temperature.
