OC my monster pc.... - Page 2

I'm pretty newish to OC myself and still working on finding my favorite stable OC for everything. Right now my i5 2500k is 4.4ghz at 1.60V I think. And my gpu is stock most of the time, unless I'm playing something graphic intensive like metro 2033 or something (normally play LoL)

I recommend you start testing OC on only one device at a time. It's like conducting science experiments, you need to control the environment so if something goes wrong when you OC your CPU and ram together, you aren't confused about which thing caused it. CPU, increase ghz, fail? Increase V. Still fail? Increase again or lower ghz.

And check out various threads in the forums discussing benchmarking software for each device you're testing your OC on. OC the CPU and ram from bios, and most people use gpu OC from a program so they can control their OC on the fly, but you CAN OC your gpu from the bios too depending on your mobo I think.

Good luck have fun!

You can normally get to 4.2GHz-4.3Ghz without too much effort with a H100.

BTW you might not want to directly post your email on any forums, ever.... Unless of course you love spam... rolleyes.gif
