there has been a leak of a new version of deathadder coming out soon, wait for it or get the g400..
If you watch gsl you will notice that all korean pros play with a stripped down g9x.. If you read up on it, you know the sensor isnt 100%.
If you dont lift your mouse and use high dpi, consider the Imperator. There is a problem with firmware scaling atm tho.
So thats your choice, two old steady bulls and two new shifty birds. : ]
Remember to slap both ass cheeks before purchase.

Those are the two most mainstream mices, but there are others.
Puretrak Valor (iirc the issues were fixed), some zowies, IME3.0, WMO 1.1 and roccat savu, for instance, do offer good tracking.

To OP: If you dont lift your mice, anything with a PTE will do.

if money isnt an issue i would go for a kinzuadder
heres hoping the new version of deathadder is slimmer and lighter..
Deathadder definitely isn't too big for starcraft. Naniwa, Leenock and MMA amongst others have all won championships using it.

this is where the definition of "good tracking" starts to slip.. : ]

they are not as accurate and have many issues with tracking/firmware

its a matter of definition ofc, if you are a casual gamer, any mouse will do, buy the prettiest one. : ]

the higher level you play at, the more youll start to notice anomalies, starts with the tracking, then the weight for longer sessions, then the shape, lastly the button switches. how elite are you? : ] now for some sc2 <3

Some people have preference but most of the time i see some one playing starcraft there using a light weight mouse like the razer abyssus or something along the lines

Imho, as per tracking quality :

DA = Savu = Abyssus (on hard pads) > Spawn = G400 (400-800 steps only) = AM/EC eVo (450 DPI) > AM/EC eVo (higher than 450 step) = Abyssus (cloth pads) = G400 (1800 - 3600)

@OP :
Can't recommend a thing because you seem to refuse giving any useful information about your typical mouse usage, as in sensitivity, if you care about angle snapping, your grip style...

Recommendations can only be as good as the information you give.

Also used extensively in Quake as well as counter strike, so definitely not casual.

Because it's too big but the Sensei is ambitextrous and i like placement of her cliques

Yes but it's a big mouse. In my opinion it should be less effective than smaller mice except for palm grip gamers

For me tracking quality is just a gimmick according to a pro gamer in interview.
Most mice have a known market quality tracking ample after it becomes like the marketing too high dpi

Because they sponsored

I hate mice with low lift off prefer big lift off i have one logitech optical low end It has an horrible precision, lag and lift off very low, but I use it because of its ergonomic design that I find perfect for this info is a RX250 which has the same ergonomics as the g3.

'll avoid the Deathadder because I hate the ergonomics of the shape of the Razer click too angular, the extreme fragility of the piece of the hull to support the switch broke after a year.

Razer is finished for me, this is a brand fanboy pigeon as those who bought an iPhone because they believe that it is better performance level while not redface.gif

I would buy the Deathadder BE ONLY just out of curiosity after buying a real mouse partion to players who do joke with the word quality.

Those who advise the Razer mouse for totally discredit the seriousness of the forum. redface.gif

Same for those who are obsessed with the quality of the sensor so that it does not know the difference with most mice.

The positive acceleration will be imperceptible and will not interfere with performance in my opinion.

This makes the quality of a pro gamer mouse is its lightness and ergonomics thumb.gif

Small ambidexterous, top notch sensor, inexpensive, omrom switches for mad clicking, I think you might wanna try the Genius Maurus.
