3way SLi on air, your temperatures ?

I would like to hear what temperatures in degrees celcius people are getting with their 3-way SLi setups on air cooling in maximum load , this just to get an idea of what the "norm" is.
It may be temperatures with GTX 260/280/470/480570/580/660Ti/670/680 cards - and any type of air cooling.
AND I welcome if people post if they've made some airflow optimizations in form of air ducts, more fans etc - just whatever done to cool those GPU's thumb.gif

I can start out with my temperatures. 3x loops of Unigine Heaven DX11 on max settings in 1920x1200. Temps measured with MSI Afterburner. Auto fan settings on all cards.

Top card = 86*c degrees celcius
Middle card = 86*c degrees celcius
Bottom card = 79*c degrees celcius

A funny side note is that I got precise the same temperatures when I ran 3x GTX280, 3x GTX470 and 3x GTX580s in this case.

My cooling sofar:

Trying to get some better temps with a Scythe Kaze Ultra 3000 on the case side later this week.

Well if people with 3-way CrossFire/Trifire are looking here, then you too are welcome to write redface.gif

Could u maybe clean up some cables and put a case fan on the bottom of the case blowing air in from the bottom? That might help bring in actually cold air from outside the case rather than air from after its passed the HDD's....

That's what I'd do. Also, have you considered "The Mod"? Yea it'd be a little crazy with 3 antec 620 coolers but it sure would solve all your temp issues. You'd just have to figure out where 3 rad's will go..lol

Unfortunately I can't run the PCI-E cable around the back panel because there are no cut outs but most importantly there isn't room for the cables to be tucked away behind the motherboard atx tray, since there's too little space between the chassis and the sidepanel. I've tried re-rerouting the PCI-E cables many times, but then I simply can't close the side panel. Therefore I've placed then in the bottom of the case in such a manner, and there is actually is a 80mm fan intake in the bottom that sucks in cool air.
If I get a Coolermaster Silent Pro M2 1500 PSU when flat thin cables I would be able to place the PCI-E cables behind the motherboard tray.

The HDD cage is also not remove able. I did try taking two of the storage HDD's out of the case, but it didn't make any difference temperature wise.

"The Mod" would be awesome, but I'm not thinking of adding to 3party cooling on the cards since they will eventually be upgraded to GTX 700 series cards later next year smile.gif

Well I have 4-way 670s on air. My cards are OC to 1200mhz to the core, 99% GPU utilization I get - top card max out at 82c, middle 2 76, bottom card 72c. I do have the vanilla 670s 2gb. My case has great airflow. The CM HAF X 942 with a 200mm fan on the side panel blowing cool air directly on the GPUs. Here is how its setup.

I do plan on getting a higher CFM 200mm fan for the side panel to help bring temps < 80c.

Hohoho... those are awesome temperaturs considering it's reference cards in 4-way-SLi ... damn that's cool biggrin.gifthumb.gif

I have been looking at Cooler Maste HAF series again. I had a HAF 922 back in 2009 when I ran 3-way CrossFire in another PC and it was an awesome case.
I'm considering HAF X since it has great airflow and super cable management abilities... however it's not as pretty as the CM690 visually. But I gues you can't get it all.
