[Build Log] FT03 HTPC

Thread Starter
I'm in the process of moving into a new apartment of my own, and with that comes the chance together an HTPC. I'm reusing a few parts from my main computer that i saved from when I upgraded and some parts I got off a local forum at amazing prices.

CPU: i5-3570k
Mobo: ROG Gene V
Gfx: Palit 580

It's a bit tiring listing all the other parts, so here's a picture.

It is a bit daunting as I've seen some people have some frustrations putting together their build with such limited space, and I've only been use to using full towers. So this is an experience in itself. I've stopped for now and will continue tmw, so will have more pictures up by then.

I feel your pain, FT03 brother. It's worth it though!

Question: Since its going to be hooked up to the TV with a max resolution of 1920x1080, is there any practical use of sli-ing my 580? I ask because I have another spare from when I upgraded (I had sli 580s).

I did a very thorough build log when first came out. 20 months ago. A ton of pics. Build shows crossfire 6870's when it was built. I later upgraded them to 7970's.

Love the case and form factor. I have since gone and built a 600t system.

No need to sli that 580. Sell them both and snag a GTX 650 or 660. Looks great!
