Adding a new component pulls in all correct information, except item title

  • What happened?
I pulled in technical information about the Canon EF 135mm F/2L USM Medium Telephoto Lens in order to list it and write a review about it, but it came through as follows:
    http://www.overclock.net/products/omic-skinpolish-exfoliating-cream-1-7oz

Note, that beyond the Name/Title displayed (which doesn't match the title in the technical information below), the information is correct.

  • Are you able to reproduce this problem consistently?
No, this was the only time I've encountered this. I listed my Canon EF 85mm lens as well and it went through normally.

  • What steps did you take to reproduce this problem?
Under 'My Lists', I tried to add Canon EF 135mm f/2L via the 'Add Stuff to Your List!' box - this wouldn't find it, and I knew the manual add wasn't what I wanted, so I clicked on the 'Camera Lenses' link at the top, one level up from viewing anything that currently exists (like the 85 f/1.8). Then I used the +Add Item button to look for the 135 (Canon EF 135mm f/2L - it was the 11th item down that came up with the correct description and title. I clicked on it to add it, and it brought me to the 'Pick a category for your item' but had already defaulted 'Photo and Video -> Camera Parts and Accessories -> Camera Lenses'. At that point it brought me to the item, which had the incorrect title associated (see link above). I followed the steps again to try to re-add the item, and it wouldn't let me.

  • What action did you expect to occur when this bug appeared?
I expected the item to be added with the correct information (Title/name displays as OMIC Skin Polish Exfoliating Cream 1.7 oz, and the Amazon link comes up as this too).

  • Any additional information that will help us diagnose the issue:

  • Browser, active browser addons, and operating system:
    Firefox 16.0.1, Lastpass and AdBlockPro

  • URL where the issue occurs:
    http://www.overclock.net/products/omic-skinpolish-exfoliating-cream-1-7oz

You sure?  A good lens should always exfoliate it's subjects.  biggrin.gif

This might be a product mishap on Amazon's side.  I don't know as much about product stuff, so let me check with a resident expert tomorrow and get back to you.

Haha, thanks -- and if I could find the lens for the cost of the exfoliating cream I'd buy 10 of them, they're that good.

Hey there, I'm afraid that SJ won't be available. I'm checking in with all her threads she's been working on and I wanted to drop a line to let you know that I'll update as soon as I hear anything. Thanks!
