Ordered a CVF yesterday and a 8350 tomorrow so I could do my own comparison

It would be great if these would drive down ivys prices. I read tge other day that each ivy quad only costs intel 9 dollars to produce

There is alot more to it than just labor and material costs. Most of what your paying for is research and development. It isn't easy designing a new cpu and process. Yes. they can probably reduce the price a bit, but there is alot more to processors than just materials and labor.
