all the lower end am3+ boards seem to be getting the bios updates for vishera...however i still see nothing for my crosshair v.

The CHV is like FX flagship mobo and has been for the past 12 months I guarantee you it will get an update they may jsut be waiting until midnight I guess?

How can AMD release a bios update for rev 2.0 mobos and not update their original mobos such as the M5A99X/M5A97 EVO? That doesn't make sense. Even old mobos with 880G chipset can run vishera but a M5A99X/M5A97 EVO can't?

when i ordered mine it said that this is an oem chip and any returns will be dealt through the manufacturer but i could have read it wrong. I believe the first 30 days i can send back to newegg and after that its gotta be sent to AMD. Cant remember if my other cpus were the same way?
