Could you add one of the passmark results I posted in the last page to that list? I want to see if there is any actual diff between 8350 and 8320 at that same clock. Also which board and voltage?

I have both the 4ghz stock bench and 4.5ghz oc benches in that zip.

What, should all benchmarks only be done on old games and dated software now? It's just another benchmark.

I guess we should only look at things Intel does best at, not what Intel does equal or worse at.

Pass mark is the worst benchmark ever created

Most are, and most aren't realistic, like using 3dmark for anything other than epeen. Let's just ignore other benchmarks though where compression is win, encryption (some cases) is win, 3d rendering software is win, audio software is win, video software is win, and @ 4.5ghz on stock voltage w/ air cooling cinebench 11.5 shows 8350 at 7.8x and 3770k at 7.91.

Sorry that it's not the processor for people who have a grand invested in multigpu, it's dandy for everything else.

Funny, most people give WEI that title.

A Benchmark is a standard used to compare 2 objects on an equal testing ground. It does that. Therefore it is a benchmark that can be used to compare things. Get over it.

What? A 3770K pulls over 9 in cine bench at 4.5ghz. While the 8350 might beat up on the 3570K it gets destroyed by the 3770k

I didn't say an oc'd 3770k, I said a 4.5ghz amd on stock voltage (free speed) is pretty near a stock 3770k. Sorry the benches don't lie. The primary problem and reason I beleive the 8350's were even set at 4stock 4.2 turbo is the vrm issues people have with vdroop on so many boards. Good boards can do 4.5ghz stock voltage and at almost no heat gain.

If you want to compare a 4.5ghz 3770k on water cooling, then be fair and compare it to an 8350 at 5.5 on water.

This isn't about ghz vs ghz, it is about IPS vs IPS.
