So it was ok before drivers? Try using DriverCleaner to eliminate all the drivers, and reinstall some of a different kind, IE Tweaksrus, Omega...

Hey guys I was thinking... maybe its because right now i have a bootleg windows XP installed. My real version is at my dads which is like a 30min drive so it wasn't exactly accessable for me. You guys think that this could be from confilicts within the XP.

There are always problems that arise from using bootleg versions but do as others have suggested. Start by ensuring that all of your connections are right and then make sure that the card is seated properly (pull it out and put it back in) After that if you still have problems uninstall the driver with a driver cleaner and then reinstall it. You might also want to open up your graphics control panel and see what the temp is. It mainly sounds like an overheating issue (reasoning; without drivers the card was not being pushed at all therefore heat would not be a factor, install drivers and turn up the eye candy and the card heats up too much) They could have installed the heatsink wrong from the factory. If it is a new card and this is the problem I would RMA it. You could fix it yourself but heck why do their work for them.

Also what power supply are you using?

I have an Ultra X-connect 500watt with 34amps on the 12v rail. I'll try reseating the card. But I really doubt that its over heating.... it has problems when you first turn on comp from it being off for long periods...

I reseated my gfx card and still same problem. I've already used driver cleaners and such to try not onyl the same drivers again but numerous other drivers. I installed one set of drivesr that Kopi gave me. They didn't screw it up, but they didn't show any settings at all for my video card, it was wierd

EDIT: I downloaded EVEREST Home Edition to check my temps... V2.20.405. And it has NOTHING ANYWHERE for anything about my video card? it really weird. But I'm using my video card to display what I'm seeing lol
