How to screw in Yate Loons?

Thread Starter
I can't for the life of me figure out how to apply enough force to screw in my yate loons all the way. I can get the screw in about half way before it just stops. Is there a special way to get the fan screws in? I noticed that the fan isn't pre-threaded....
No fans are pre threaded. Either deal with it or push harder. All fans will screw in with the right amount of force.

Self-tapping screws have a dug-out part of their shafts that cut the plastic as they turn. Otherwise you end up with a screw of increasing volume trying to enter a cylinder of unyielding plastic.

After you cut the thread with a self-tapping screw, you can put non-self-tapping screws in. Try lubricating the screw first.

If you don't mind whatever noise they may make then whatever you end up with is fine.
