@Arizonian if you don't like the cold feeling of aluminum pad in the winter like me, kindly remind that,
I still feel the cold on Invicta's frame. But not as cold as the whole pad, only a touch of the frame.
Friction wise, the big texture side is less friction than the smooth side, both sides are low friction similar to SX aluminum pad.
But without the cold wrist

That's why Invicta is my alternative hard pad in the winter.

Hope this help

Yes it did, nice job. Showed me the aluminum frame from Invicta as well as how thick the frame was next to the smart phone.

I'm trying to avoid that completely as the thickness of the frame looks like it's always going to make contact with your wrist as you've pointed out. Initially cold touch again. I'm looking an upgraded Vespula type hard pad from Razer and even though the surface was perfect the aluminum frame will be the problem.
Thank you for taking the time to reply and answer.

The Manticor seems to be an aluminum pad unless I'm wrong. So I'll have to pass if it's again cold to the touch.
Anyone have the Destructor 2?
Seems a bit upgraded from the original Destructor pad and if it's got an easy glide I might be interested in that. The Destructor 2 might be my only choice out of the new line for Razer possibly. I've got the Vespula which I loved but need a bit more size. Preferably without colors other than black or dark gray this time. At the moment before I look elsewhere I wanted to see which one of the four might fit my needs from Razer.
Thanks again.
Edited to add: It's in back order on Razer website, no telling how long and none on sale online. Another hard pad to find.
