I have CM Storm Rapid with reds, and I felt the same way when I got mine. Branding all over the keyboard, and I was thinking, maybe some rubbing alcohol and a q-tip or cotton swab of sorts? Has anyone done this? headscratch.gif

Kinda want a numpad keyboard, but from the bad rep about its manufacturer (plus lower egg reviews), I'm starting to lean towards the rapid.

I'll wait for next time doh.gif

My QFR had the newer minimal branding like the one in this thread: http://www.overclock.net/t/1302372/brand-less-quickfire-rapid

Some people are still getting the branded ones so it is basically a coin flip.

I might have to bite then. If it does come horribly branded, I can try my hand at taking it apart and busting out a can of Krylon Fusion and painting it white. I just painted my TY-150 and parts of my case, so I might as well paint something else.

Sorry I can't quote (at work and the administrator has somehow blocked it) but to answer how I like the Pro, I like it just fine. I got mine a month or so ago for $48 shipped, with browns. Now take this opinion with a grain of salt because it's my first mechanical, but the keys work great for gaming compaired to the dome switches. That's a given. Typing is great on it too but they are super loud! I have a tendency to slam keys down and I'm not sure how well the board would go over at work around other people. Doesn't bother me though. I love the action in the keystrokes. I ended up with the larger number of keys lit because those are the ones I use most for gaming, and when my hand strays I like to have the larger reference point. Please also note that I'm learning to use KB&M specifically because of this board. I used to use one of those nc52e things from Razor. On topic, I think you will be perfectly happy with your pro. It hasn't hiccuped yet. Just make sure to fully seat that USB cord in the board and plug it into a USB 2 port, not a USB 3! I though I had a dud, but for some reason it didn't like the USB 3.

Do you find the switch from the nostromo to the mech KB hard on your hand? I really like the nostromo because it doesn't make my hand hurt while gaming and have never used a KB for gaming because I got the nostromo for free.

@Darin- Go Noles!

I would buy faster than my mind could argue the purchase if there was a Rapid with browns.

Yeah TBH I was expecting more people to get this. It's such a good price for really good keyboards.
