I grabbed this deal even though I was thinking about getting cherry mx browns as my first mechanical TKL and I figure the MX Blacks should be fine for a mix of gaming and typing too. They sounded pretty nice on a few videos I saw on youtube compared to the browns and reds and I know the blues were too loud for me .. and not on sale.

I have a question though for anyone that has ordered from CoolerMater's store before, is the shipping pretty slow in general? i put in my order on 10/23 and I figured it would have shipped by now but it shows "awaiting shipping" still. I'm was thinking that for the $11 it costs to ship it would be on it's way already but I guess if a ton of people jumped on this sale it might be delayed. Did anyone in the US order this week and get their's shipped or received it yet?

WHAT... Ordered on the 22nd... Still awaiting shipment. Of course I get screwed again.

 

edit:  They havent updated their system yet. So if you ordered recently, use their online chat to find your tracking #. I found mine via asking a CSR

My payment processed early Thursday morning. Sat in Awaiting Shipment all day and again today. I called and the guy said "yeah.... we *just* received your payment... yesterday morning. It *should* ship today." Makes me really wonder how they process an order. Maybe awaiting shipment means "we are at some stage between swimming in your money, finding a box that will fit your order, or building a raft that will float your order to you at the ocean's convenience."

lol my thought is the raft.


really stupid that i know the money was gone from my bank account within seconds that in this day and age a line like "we just got your payment" would matter to me as a proper reason in the least.

payment is between them and their processor, I could care less if they got paid next fiscal quarter, I only expect my product shipped after i pay.

Oh well I guess it either gets here today or I'll call next week since the processing seems hit or miss.

(edit) just got a update that it shipped yesterday morning according to FedEx is scheduled for arrival on tuesday frown.gif I guess they can ship people items from china to japan to Anchorage to Memphis in 2 days, but CA to IL takes a week frown.gif
