Yes, they are great fans. I use to have a 2 x UK 2000s in P/P for my old H50 and temps where great. Alas, I have complaints from the people next door about the noise tongue.gif

Ill try the GT, I just pulled a box of my *generic* fan and they are actually silent... 39,77CFM at 19DBA... The Scythe GT AP15 1850s seem to be a better comprimise in performance vs noise. With my current fan my GPU's never get passed 75C with auto fan on, It may get them in the high 60 low 70... that would be awsome.
Anyway +rep to both of you. He will be here Nov 20, ill keep you posted of how it went.

Thanks! Make sure you post pics and keep us posted on the progress!

As far as the AP-15's are concerned...you can barely hear them on full-tilt! I have 2 on my RS240 1 on my RX120 and 1 on my EX120 and the only sound I could hear are the CM-R4 red LED and my D5 Vario set to 5 and having the case 2 feet to my left. LOL.

Hi,

I have both the AP-15s and AP-14s, and the AP-15s are considerably (and noticeably) louder than the near-silent AP-14s. Yes they are still quiet, but they are not silent... no 1850rpm 120mm fan will be, it's not the fan making the noise, it's the noise from so much air moving! I had my mini-beast on last night which has a 120mm rad with push/pull... and it's not noisy, but it's not silent, especially when i compared the noise to the laptop sat next to it.

For your setup, I'd recommend AP-14s all round. 4x push/pull on your H100, and AP-14s for your case fans. You don't need AP-15s on your H100, you definitely don't need AP-15s as case fans!

Or... use the AP-15s with a fan controller, that's what I do. I probably turn them down to 1000 to 1400rpm, this is where they are near silent. I use AP-14s as my case fans, I have no intention of running anything quicker than that for that purpose.

Either way you go... you can't go wrong with them.

Good luck and keep us updated!

Personally, I used 4 x Scythe GT AP15 1850s for push/pull on my H100... quiet but efficient.
I have used a UK 2000 on the side panel to cool my GPU... works well with a fan controller.

4 1850's p/p on h100 = win, unless you have 4 on your 480 custom water loop wink.gif
