Pariah. I some how ended with that in my pc game collection. Got it for free though. Ungodly controlls, stupid ai, halo clone, story line that does not make sense whatsoever, and has no continuity the list goes on and on.

Yup. That is the entire game. Eventually the clown goes fast enough that the program can't even correctly register a click on it. Then your score can't go higher. That's only if you didn't put in a speed cap though, if you did, then the game is endless and you can rack up as many points as you have time to.

Since you didn't say it has to be modern, I'm going to go with the original E.T. game, such an awful "video game", If you even call that piece of garbage a video game. Next would probably have to be Homefront, which is the most modern letdown for me.

The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion...

No other game has ever had such a negative affect on me. It was the last game I ever pre-ordered and I will never pre-order another game again...or even buy a game on release week. I want to be sure I know everything about how a game plays before I buy it, because I would have never purchased Oblivion had known about scaling. A lot of games have scaling in it to some degree, but Oblivion took it to new levels.

The over board scaling ruined it for me...while playing one day I got angry because I leveled up when I didn't want to. "A game where leveling up is a bad thing?" I said to my self. I killed the exe right there, uninstalled the game and listed it on ebay. I've since bought it again for $4.99 since I wanted to try some of the mods like OOO or mods that slow down the leveling so you can get secondary skills up and get full stat increases, but the game just doesn't hold my attention. It remains one of the very few games I own that I have never finished.

How people can play this on a console or unmodded is beyond me. This piece of crap even the got the game of the year award from some fools. I look at it as proof that time travel will not exist in my life time because if it did I would go back and erase the game from existence...or at least made sure I never bought it.
