Need help choosing a mech keyboard

Thread Starter
After hours of researching (lol) I've finally decided to get a blue switch. However I need help choosing the right one on other aspect.

I want a keyboard with:
Cherry Blue
Full size
US layout
enough KRO (Yes I still play those 2 player games and I've had problems with wasd and arrows being used at the same time. However, I don't know if 6KRO is enough or I need NKRO)
Sturdy build quality
2-digit price tag

Prefer:
Macros (Is macros and PS2/NKRO mutually exclusive??)
Wouldn't mind backlit

Currently I'm looking at the rosewill and leopold. Although I'm a little bit more towards the rosewill.tongue.gif Is there any other great budget mech keyboard I'm missing?

if you're a student, check out das keyboards and use your student discount (combined with getting a refurbished model) you might just hit the 2 digit price tag

razer blackwidow 2013 retails for 99.99 usd, as well as the coolermaster quickfire pro

good luck on your search, and once you go mech you aint coming back!

Glad to hear you found the keys you like in Blues.

DAS Pro $129 free shipping

Razer BlackWidow Ultimate 2013 $111 free shipping

The basic Razer BlackWidow 2013 is selling for $99 but with $8.95 shipping it's more than the Ultimate on sale right now. Unless you can find it somewhere for free shipping. I don't know of any other mech boards for two digit figure.

Personally I'd pay a bit more and go with the DAS Pro if your liking BLUE keys. You'll look back and be grateful you did in hindsight. I like Razer products but only for Mice & mouse pads. thumb.gif

Rosewill and Leopold make good boards. One slight issue with the Rosewills: some of the older ones had issues with the USB connector, but I believe they fixed it on the newer models. Leopolds are all around good boards, never really heard any complaints about them...

Rosewill:

White case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823201052&name=Keyboards $99.99
Black Case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823201040&name=Keyboards $89.99
Backlit: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823201054&name=Keyboards $109.99

Leopold:

"Otaku" non-printed keys: http://elitekeyboards.com/products.php?sub=leopold,fullsize&pid=fc500rcabn $89.00
Printed keys: http://elitekeyboards.com/products.php?sub=leopold,fullsize&pid=fc500rcab $99.00

Hopefully this helps you with your search!
