Use AB to overclock...

Enable AMD overdrive in CCC and manually drag the the memory clock to its lowest setting and apply

Memory now downlclocks automatically when in 2d mode, and ramps up automatically in 3d apps thumb.gif

Note, if your clocks still stay high disable afterburner and set clocks in CCC to your desired core 1100mhz etc and memory to 150mhz. When Windows boots before CCC loads clocks show as 500/1500, but when CCC loads clocks return to 300/150.

This will only cause conflicts with AB or any other overclocking app. It's like rule 1 of overclocking, use one of the other but not both consecutively.

You can use both without any problems.

You realize that's counter to recommendations right? Overdrive will conflict with AB, clocks will not always hit specified values or powertune gets stuck, etc. It used to be that we were forced to use Overdrive with AB because AB couldn't control powertne you know? That was fraught with hiccups. It's like going back a year with Unwinder roflmao. That guy hated me back then, not so much I'd like to imagine. Anyways, using AB with Overdrive active is not a good idea.

Well it's a workaround for the 2d clocks on this 12.11 beta for those who have the issues wink.gif
