Forceware 310.33 Beta out now ! - Page 2

Not even 10 minutes of borderlands before it went back to the desktop.. ***

edit::: It was my EVGA 680 signature 2 that was causing all the crashing of my games.. Sending it back to Newegg and getting this ASUS instead of the EVGA.. Yum, cant wait for it to come in..

These drivers have significantly, and I mean SIGNIFICANTLY, reduced the driving stutter in Sleeping dogs. It is just so fluid and responsive now it feels like I upgraded my machine. Has given me minor speed bumps in other titles as well but then SD improvements are noteworthy.

Not much change here on my GTX670 and GTX460SE machines. Maybe slight FPS increase in BF3.

After some more gaming, I have noticed some issues.

On my 2500k/GTX670 rig, the control panel crashed while using it.
On my Q9400/GTX460SE rig, BF3 crashed to the desktop.

Back to 306.97

The 310.33 made my card downclock somehow. It lowered the kepler boost by 5 to 1241, and the only change was the new driver (it was still 1246 after the Precision X update earlier in the week). I have the same issues as others where my Precision X v3.0.4 offset can no longer be changed in 1 point increments (it just ignores them until you get to a number that makes the clock go up by 11 - 13). Formerly, I had +70 to get a 1246 kepler boost clock. Now, with the 1241 at +70, it changed nothing from +71 to +75, but +76 to +80 gives me a 1254 kepler boost clock (adding 13 for anywhere from +6 to +10 offset increase). Same issue on the memory clock. Mine was 3375 with a +272. When I went up +5 to +277, it raised the clock by 11 to 3386, which isn't accurate, but only 1 point off. When I lowered the offset just 1 point to +276, it goes back to 3375...down 11 clocks. ***, Nvidia??

Oddly, my GPU-Z reading says I lose 0.3 GPixel Fillrate with the higher clock (I stuck with the 1254 clock, with a +79 to try & keep it like it was in case they fix this, and it's not an intentional direction) & new drivers (37.7 to 37.4 GPixel/s)... This SUCKS!! Anyone else have similar situation?

Also, I just played BF3 for a couple of hours, and it played great. No crashes on this driver (just info for the peeps that were having issues).

EDIT: to BIOHazard87, my control panel crashed when I went to right click on it (with intentions on exiting it), right before starting the 310.33 install. Weird, indeed.

I had microstutter without vsync on some games such as F1 2012 and Project CARS, this driver has improved this situation quite a lot! I can now play these games without using vsync and no stuttering WOOHOO!!

Also temps seem lower, not sure if that's cos delta is low at moment but 65c max on a 1306mhz core clock = awesome on my gtx 670

I used to get a solid 1300mhz core but latest drivers reduced my core to 1292mhz and I couldn't go higher, however I did some research and for some reason they have changed the way the boost clock works. It now increases in 13mhz chunks. I increased my core clock by 13mhz so its now +189 and I get a solid 1306mhz no trouble thumb.gif
