Apparently NB frequency affects memory bandwidth which in turn affects graphics performance. We'll see how it turns out.

Plan on running some dual graphics with a 6670? There aren't really any reviews out there running this.

Yeah, why not. iGPU overclock + NB overclock + memory overclock + GPU overclock should net some solid performance.

Subbing i would love to see what kind of performance you can squeeze out of these. Personally i would love to build one myself for a "steam-box" in my bedroom but I'm unsure yet how well hybrid graphics would do on a lot of indie games as well of cod.

dual graphics are fail. I have a 3870 which I love dispite it's short comings. I decided to get a 6670 to try the dual graphics. The reason I say it's not great is that some games don't support dual graphics. As for the memory BW, I went up to DDR-2133 and didn't see much of an increase over 1866. I'm using a Gigabyte A75M-UD2H. With AHCI turned on north-bridge wont go past 101MHz without boot errors. I don't know if this is the A75 chipset or a motherboard spicific problem. If your running a SSD, AHCI makes a substantial increase in performance. If I remember correctly, there was a ~125MB/s seq difference when I tried it on my SSDs. There is a llanos owners club thread on here. last time I checked it had 20 or so pages of good info on overclocking and various other stuff.

Nothing groundbreaking but I just ordered a Gigabyte GA-A75M-S2V to fiddle with it a little bit.
I just want to get the most graphical performance out of it by overclocking the GPU portion of the APU.
I know that it can do cross fire with amd cards and I wanted to do just that with a budget oriented gpu. What do you guys recommend? I want to roughly increase the GPU power by 80-100% by pairing it with a decent enough card.

Going to be playing with a 3870K just like you are, except this is the board+Ram I have

Nice guys! you should check out my APU review thread of that 3570. Its with and without dual graphics. Also, If you get good results on a decently high OC I can ad them to the OP for others. I had one member already OC his APU and added to the bottom of the OP. Check it out. thumb.gif

I've got some technical question.

Memory voltage limitation for Intel chips are usualy 1.65 volts. I couldn't find out what it is for AMD chips, specifically for a 3870K so what is it?

I also need to know how much voltage I can feed the CPU. I heard the recommended maximum is around 1.5 volts so I'm just making sure. I'm using a 92mm version of Corsair's H50 so I've got plenty of cooling.

Is there any other voltage/settings/values that would help me reach a higher iGPU clock?
